Glitter Overdrive

Hezzo!
I know, what fashion blogger doesn't absolutely love (amore) Paris? It's basically a curse (and a susceptible one at zhat, oui?). If you're an avid lover of anything high end (oh, the puns) you're automatically in love with the city of lights. Up top, for those of you.

Just a reminder, before you think I'm totally creepy and way too confusing to keep up with, but I'm a bit random. Self, thoughts and script. Tread cautiously...or dive head first. Either ways coo.

Anyway, tonight, I've been ignoring my multiple unfinished stories (tends to happen a tad often) and I went on a crazy sparkle shoe overload. Google = <3. It's so efficient and super duper handy and a temple should be built in its honor. Therefore, you bet I discovered a plethora of things to put in my blog:

Alberta Ferretti dress from 2007. $2480
Totally worth it in my opinion. I mean, are you seeing the sparkles!! Bejeezus, you'd be dazzling people 360 degrees if you wore that to a party. I'd have mega fun wearing that. And get a serious work-out too, with how much that gorg dress weighs. Wouldn't you agree?

Um...do you see these? Decked out crystal pumps by Emporio Armani. A bit old-fashioned in the style, but still so fabulous. He's an effing mastermind when it comes to sparkly shoes. I remember seeing Katie Holmes wearing an entire glitter outfit from Armani Privé to the premiere of Lions for Lambs in Berlin and almost peed my pants. Here's a refresher:

Gah! She was my hero (heroine, actually. Feminine power, darlings!) that night. Oh, the shoes! The heels are what really got me. Close-up:

If there's so much conflict on who should worship what to whom in this world, then let these be it and resolve the situation. Shoes (much less sparkly ones!) fix problems in a snap or click/swipe of a credit card. Easy-peasy.
Like these wicked Christian Louboutin pumps:

They're multi-colored and oh-so chic. And. of course, about $695. *Sigh* Sparkles come at a real high price. Like these models in the Spring Balmain collection (oh, humorous punchline! Get it? High price? Models are giants?......never mind.):

That picture is divinity. Sparkly dresses (another in the corner too!!) and embellished boots in the background. It's the best two-in-one combo, period(.). Balmain is my one and only Lord and Savior. The ultimate, epitome of beaded/crystal/gem/glitter/sparkle magnificence (and brilliance).

I LOVE the whole collection. It's breathtaking. Basically, it was meant and made for me. Except for the funky shoulder pads, Balmain defines me, incase you were wondering who the heck I am and why I'm ranting on and on about sparkles and fashion. Random, see?
Obviously I'm showing more because I'm sweet like that (refer to above):

The jackets are sublime. Last on the right is like an 80s vintage bomber. Second on the right matches the skirt:

which I'd cream myself if I ever bought (hence afford, or the apocalyptic day where I become incredibly frivolous and spend serious dough on something that's $7,830.) Let's hope one day!

I thought Beyonce wore the crystal-embellished canvas jacket wonderfully. Everything else in her outfit cas (casual, you'll understand my lingo soon enough), while the jacket was the main statement:

But onto the main, pinnacle piece....the shoes. Ah, the most amazing, beautiful, classic, die-hard, essential (to me, cause I'm not practical at all), fab-fab-fabulous, glamorous heels ever to be created. So much so that I just named how stupendous they are with the first portion of the alphabet:

Net-a-porter.com is my best friend. <3 High quality images that you can save onto your computer. (You don't even want to know how many I have from there alone.) Unlike other sites, like the 3 B stores (Barney's, Bendels, Bergdorf's). Among many others. I'm not pointing fingers. But if I had those shoes, my life would be so utterly complete and fabulous I can't even describe. Oh, and with this purse too:

Sonia Rykiel Dita Bag. $3,045
I asked my sister if she'd buy it for me (equaling a mortgage payment, by ze way) and I'd cover the $45...yeah, didn't really work out. Almost though. I'm remaining optimistic. She's a wiz on eBay so, you know, there's a chance! (Heheh?)

Bless you, Balmain!

Get this, I nearly had a spaz attack when I found out that Bebe has knock-off Balmain heels for less than $200!!!!!!!! Holy balls. I want 'em. Like real bad. And Zara has them too!

So cute, so me. I'd wear those all ze time, no joke. They'd suit my wardrobe, no problem. I'm all about the jewels and the shiny objects. You should see my eye make-up when I go out.
I honestly sparkle (which sounds real gay, I know, but it's true.)! And I just bought the actual sparkle powder for your eyes. I'm real excited for that, let me just say.

For the final Balmain topic tonight - the dress. The dress that matches the shoes and has already been worn out in the world off the runway by Julia Restoin Roitfeld (talk about a mouthful. My best friend's full Spanish name sounds a breeze now.).

Not bad, more simplistic, which works when you're not a supermodel and strutting it in Fashion Week. That dress sums me up though. If I were to pick a dress that fit me as a being most, it'd be this one:

Dark - meaning night owl.

Out there - as in fun lovin'.

Expensive - like I adore way too pricey things, but I'm actually one of the best inherited bargain shoppers to date.

Tastefully sexy - yeah, doesn't need an explanation.

And radiant - by my infinite fawning of sparkles, mind you.

(Yes, I'm exaggerating a tad, but only with my synonyms. Sorta. You never know. I'll leave you in mystery.)

And there you have it. First post of my blog (otherwise known as G4). It won't always be about fashion, might I mention. For now, yes. I've got tons and tons of comments about all these clothes I have saved in folders (each for their own article of clothing, occasion, etc).

Next post will be about the third G - guys.

Covered the first two, now....let the yummin' begin. Well, tomorrow or something. I should probably get some shuteye. Should being the operative word. Really need to work on that.
Till next time.

(This will be my closing picture, so better accommodate to seeing it and prepare yourself for some glassy eyes...from gazing at it longingly.) S'later!
